Price: Too low to sight

Anyone know of a excellent speaker website for Home Theater systems? I have a link Yamaha bookshelf speakers I bought in 1996 that signal excellent, but I’m looking to upgrade and get a full system. I would prefer them to be tiny enough to wall-mount, but they need to signal excellent. I’ve always liked the signal of Infinity, but don’t have much for evaluation. My bro likes his JBL’s and my dad likes Bose. A supporter has B&W, which I reckon is a modest higher end. Any suggestions?

Crutchfield or Overstock.com. All the speakers you mentioned are all brilliant. I have JBL’s and like them. Bose are hard to beat if you like it loud.

I have B&W speakers, they’re brilliant. But also pricey and huge.

If you want wall-mountable speakers, SVS has splendid systems, better than no matter what business else in their price range. Their subwoofers are world-class and will give you an brilliant home theater system.

It’s up to you whether you want 7.1, the enhancement is tiny over 5.1.

You may maybe spend three times as much on a Bose system, but it won’t signal nearly as excellent as the SBS-01. That’s since SVS puts their cash into equipment and commerce, not marketing.

SVS is very well loved on sites such as AVSForum.com, and they have brilliant customer benefit. I have an SVS subwoofer and like it.

If you don’t have a receiver, I would urge Yamaha or Denon.

Your instinct is aptly. The Infinity Primus speakers are a really excellent deal on eBay. You aren’t going to get much bass out of a bookshelf no matter what, but check in to the P162. If you’d like some bass, I suggest the P362s, but it’s up to your personal preference. Either way, a subwoofer must be used to capture the lower notes that are just as necessary as the mid range and highs.

By the way, I’m reasonably plugged in to the home theater world, and for the price range of below $ 300, the Infinity is painstaking the best bang for the buck.

Boss is severely overpriced and will be outperformed by speakers costing 1/5 of it’s price. JBL is painstaking OK, but is beat out by Infinity. Again, this is the all-purpose overall consensus. B&W is excellent, but there is better for the price. Most of the reasons companies like Boss and B&W sell so well is since they are household names. If you are looking for hi end signal then I suggest the SVS M line. Fantastic signal quality. The tweeter lonely retails for $ 220 a cut. At $ 799 a pair, it is virtually a steal. Please bare in mind that many $ 1,000 pair of speakers can use a $ 30 tweeter. The SVS tweeter is a Scan-Speak tweeter from Denmark that is used in $ 10,000+ speakers and is very new technology compared to most other tweeters. The unequaled woofer is also very well respected.

Dredge up, all speakers are is drivers, crossovers, cabinets and excellent top. Some are overpriced and some aren’t. The Infinity Primus happen to have very high quality drivers as well and getting them for below retail just sweetens the deal. They just cost less than 1/4 of the price of the SVS speakers, but then again you get what you pay for.
